Passing of Golden Eagle Spouse Virginia Mae Cavicke
 

It is my very sad duty to report the passing of Virginia “Ginny” Cavicke, beloved wife of Golden Eagle Emeritus CAPT Richard J. “Dick” CAVICKE, USN (Ret), on 17 October 2025 at home in La Jolla, CA. She suffered stroke-like symptoms in mid-2024 and battled those complications for 16 months. Dick and Ginny enjoyed 68 years of marriage.
 
A private interment is being planned.
